Senator Yar'adua Describes Late President As Icon Of Democracy

Senator Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has described his late brother President Umaru Musa Yar'adua as a second father to him.

The Senator made this known on Sunday at the 14th Remembrance and Prayer Day of Late Malam Umaru Musa Yar'adua and a book launch tittled "What Yar'adua Told and Taught Me" by Engineer Dr. Muttaqa Rabe Darma conducted at the   Banquet Hall Government House Katsina.

Senator Yar'adua who said his late brother became an exceptional leader and an icon of democracy in a blessed memory, prayed for the repose of his soul and reward him with Aljannatul Firdaus .

The occasion was chaired by the State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda and was witnessed by Yar'adua family, Traditional Leaders, Ulamas and many political faithful of the Late President among which include former State Governor Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema.

Others are Emir of Daura Alhaji Dr. Umar Faruk Umar,  State and Federal Law Makers, State Deputy Governor Alhaji Farouk Lawal Jobe, Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Faskari, State Chief Judge Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar and members of the State  Executive Council among orhers 

Late Malam Umaru Musa Yar'adua was born on 16th August , 1951and died on 5th May, 2010 at the age of 59. He was declared the winner of the 21st April, 2007 and served as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for three years.
